| Babies
and children upto 2 years |
|
During these earliest years activities are based
around children’s first experiences or their world, with much value
being placed upon everyday caring routines such as being fed, clean and
emotionally secure, as well as stimulating their development through a
range of sensory and physical experiences. Babies follow their own
individual routines with the aim of joining in with nursery meal times
by the time they reach one year.
Daily records for parents of children under two years are kept showing
each child’s eating and sleeping patterns, nappy changes and their day’s
experiences, staff discuss these with parents at the end of each day.
“All the staff are so kind and friendly, they keep you informed of
progress made and genuinely care for all children.”

“The children learn through playing, the toys are rotated, so my child
is able to learn by experiencing different activities every
week.”
